Fruit and Herb Water

serves 4


  • 4 cups water
  • Infusing ideas:
  • Frozen blueberries, grated ginger, and basil
  • Grapefruit sections and a sprig of rosemary
  • Lemon slices, cucumber slices and mint
  • Orange slices and cilantro
  • Frozen mixed berries and tarragon



  1. Combine water and your choice of infusions ingredients in a large pitcher or container.
  2.  Refrigerate at least one hour.
  3. Serve over ice.


Nutrition information will vary depending on if you eat the fruit, squeeze out the juice into your water, which fruits you choose etc. but if you’re just using the fruit and herbs to infuse the water the amount of sugar that ends up in the water will be very low. If you’re concerned about adding sugar, choose ingredients with little to no sugar like lemon, lime, herbs and roots instead of sweeter fruits.
