Cooking and gardening fit kids’ increasing curosity about the world around them. They develop self-sufficiency skills and can participate in a family activity.

We participate in collaborations with other healthy communities coalitions in many ways, including the following:

We are graduates of the Massachusetts Forum for Health Communities
We participate in the steering committee and forums of Community Health Network Area (CHNA) 18, and also CHNA 17
We work closely with our local Regional Center for Healthy Communities (Metrowest)
Waltham is now a Mass in Motion community, an initiative organized for the city of Waltham by Healthy Waltham in conjunction with the Waltham Health Department
